Airport Cooperative Research Programs (ACRP) Subprograms
ACRP Subprograms
ACRP oversees many subprograms that support its overall mission.
About ACRP
Legal Aspects of Airport Programs (A11-01)
Since 2006, the ACRP Legal Aspects of Airport Programs has been focused on providing legal research on topics of interest to the airport legal community. Project findings are published in ACRP's Legal Research Digest (LRD) series, which provides airport attorneys with a single repository of authoritative and well-researched papers on the issues affecting them and their clients.

Quick Response Projects (A11-02)
There are times when issues arise that require immediate attention and cannot wait for the typical ACRP research processes. The ACRP Oversight Committe has allocated a portion of their research funds that can be used, as needed, for such "quick response" needs. These funds are spent on limited-scope research tasks that require a quick turnaround.

Synthesis (A11-03)
Airport managers, engineers, and researchers face problems for which information already exists, either in documented form or as undocumented experience and practice. This information may be fragmented, scattered, and unevaluated. The synthesis series reports on current knowledge and practice, in a compact format, so it is easier for airport professionals to utilize.

Ambassadors (A11-05/1)
Our Ambassador program is a key component of ACRP’s efforts to bring timely and useful publications to the airport industry and engage airport practitioners in ACRP’s many activities. Our Ambassadors volunteer to represent ACRP at industry conferences and events. They use the opportunities to talk with practitioners, answer questions, and share the goals and value of the program.

ACRP Insight Events (A11-08)
Not all challenges lend themselves to applied research or to published solutions due to their dynamic or unsettled nature, lack of maturity, or because the state of knowledge or practice is still evolving. Nonetheless, the airport industry would benefit from a deeper understanding and dialog on many of these challenges even if an immediate solution is not practical. ACRP Insight Events is responsible for convening airport-industry leaders and subject-matter experts (SMEs) in various fields to encourage discussion and promote broader-deeper insight on topics of significance to airport operators.
