Publications Subscription Services

To fulfill one of its oldest missions, TRB disseminates transportation research results and technology information through an extensive array of timely publications. TRB has gained national and international prominence for its books and reports assessing the state of the art or practice in specific areas of transportation, presenting the results of transportation research, addressing major national transportation policy issues, and identifying research needs. On average, TRB produces more than 180 publications per year that are available on an annual subscription basis.

TRB offers four types of annual subscriptions:

1. TR News --TRB's bimonthly news magazine features timely articles and state-of-the-art research and practice in all modes of transportation. 


2. TRR journal --TRB is pleased to partner with SAGE Publishing to publish Transportation Research Record (TRR). TRR has a digital home on the next-generation SAGE Journals platform, featuring a fully responsive design and dynamic reading experience. 3. TRB full collection -- Includes all of the regular serial publications of TRB in print format and TRR. TRB books and reports covering 36 transportation functions and modes. Annually, TRB produces approximately 200 titles that include TRR; TR News; Special Reports; Conference Proceedings; Transportation Research Circulars; publications from National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP), Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP), National Cooperative Freight Research Program (NCFRP), Hazardous Material Cooperative Research Program (HMCRP), Commercial Truck and Bus Safety Synthesis Program (CTBSSP) Research Results Digests, Legal Research Digests, and Syntheses; and SHRP 2 Reports. 4. Customized subscription service --TRB offers additional customizable subscription services through its organizational and individual affiliate programs. TRB has a tiered program that allows sponsors and affiliates to customize the services and benefits they receive in exchange for association with one of the world’s best-known transportation research organizations. Retroactive subscriptions are available for printed publications. Subscription packages run from January 1 to December 31.
