Indian Country 101: History, Geography, Policies, and Initiatives Affecting Tribal Transportation Infrastructure
The feature article in the September – October 2014 edition of the TR News explores lands that are defined by federal law as Indian Country and that are home to the cultures, traditions, and governments of Indian communities. The article provides an overview of the political and legal history of these lands, and explores the transportation initiatives on these lands.

Submissions of manuscripts for possible publication are accepted at any time.
Copies of the TR News may be purchased individually or ordered on an
annual subscription basis. TRB policy is to release the full PDF version of TR News four months after its release in print format.
