Emerging Answers, SHRP 2 Annual Report: 2009-2010

TRB’s second Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP 2) has released its annual report, which provides background on the program and highlights the program’s accomplishments in its four focus areas: Safety, Renewal, Reliability, and Capacity. SHRP 2 focuses on applied research in four focus areas, which were selected on the basis of their importance to the nation’s economy and quality of life, and because strategically targeted research in these areas promises to yield high payoffs.
