Transportation Security Research in Progress

TRB’s Research in Progress (RiP) database includes information on more than 130 transportation security-related research projects underway or recently completed as part of its overall database of more than 8,000 projects.  The RiP website allows users to browse and search information in the database, which is maintained by the transportation research organization conducting the research. Users can also receive regular topical e-mail notices on new or updated information added to the database. Most of the RiP records are projects funded by United States federal agencies and state departments of transportation.  Information on projects taking place in Canada, Europe, Central and South America, Australia, and Asia is also included in the database.
