Multipurpose Fare Media: Developments and Issues

TRB’s Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) Research Results Digest 16: Multipurpose Fare Media: Developments and Issues presents the interim findings of TCRP Project A-14, "Potential of Multipurpose Fare Media." Included in the digest are (1) a summary of the emerging developments, (2) a discussion of key issues and concerns, and (3) a technical appendix presenting the results of a survey of transit operators fare collection practices and plans.
