Standing Committee & Task Force Members
Standing committee and task force web pages provide rosters of appointed members. For privacy reasons, telephone numbers and email addresses of committee and task force members are not available to the public, with the exception of chairs whom you may contact directly.
Chairs may be contacted by email for more information about committee and task force activities—you may contact chairs directly.
Emeritus members are specially recognized members of a committee based on their significant contributions to TRB over a sustained period of time.
Young members are specially appointed to committees in an effort to mentor the newest generation (35 years of age or younger) of transportation professionals.
Committee Communications Coordinators (CCC) work with TRB staff and other committees to help accomplish goals set to improve communication between TRB, committees, and friends.
Committee Research Coordinators (CRC) are the point persons for fostering and nurturing the committee’s research agenda.
TRB Representatives
Representatives from states, transit organizations, and universities are appointed by their organizations to act as liaisons between TRB and the organization or institution.
