Evaluation of Responsible Beverage Service to Reduce Impaired Driving by 21- to 34-Year-Old Drivers
The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has released a report that examines the effectiveness of a multicomponent intervention with responsible beverage service (RBS) training to reduce impaired driving among 21- to 34-year-olds. The research may reduce over-service practices and the frequency of serving to obviously intoxicated individuals in bars and restaurants through training and enforcement.
