TRB conducted a webinar on December 4, 2013 from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. ET that highlighted research on the mechanism underlying asphalt healing and how it can be used in practice.
Researchers introduced new ideas on the characterization and modeling of asphalt healing and explored how to employ these new ideas in practice. Researchers and practitioners were encouraged to attend this webinar to better understand the healing capacity of asphalt, its practical applications, and how this self-restoring phenomenon can be utilized to extend pavement sustainability.
