The San Francisco Bay Area Planning and Urban Research Association (SPUR) has released a report that proposes a framework for identifying effective adaptation strategies that are appropriate to a particular setting and that take advantage of natural processes. This report focuses on San Francisco Bay shoreline communities and their need to adapt in order to build social and ecological resilience to rising sea levels.
