A Pilot Study to Determine the Relative Value of Non-Market Transport Impacts of Investment
The New Zealand Transport Agency has released a report that examines methodologies used to establish the monetary value of certain transportation impacts. These impacts cannot be traditionally measured using market values, and they include the costs of travel time and the value of reducing the risk of injuries or fatalities. The goal of this report is to determine whether a new survey method could be used to obtain more accurate values for these impacts.
