Directional Rumble Strips for Reducing Wrong-Way-Driving Freeway Entries
The Center for Transportation Studies at the University of Minnesota has released a report that presents the evaluation results of five types of directional rumble strips based on field testing. The goal of this report is to develop a low-cost safety countermeasure that captures a driver’s attention through elevated in-vehicle sound and vibration for wrong-way driving.
