Cybersecurity Planning and Future Resources

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of the Inspector General has released an audit report that determines whether the DOT’s Office of the Chief Information Officer expended appropriate funds to support cybersecurity initiatives and adequately planned for its cybersecurity funding needs. Between fiscal years 2012-2015, Congress appropriated more than $25 million to address cybersecurity gaps.
