The new TRB Section on Transportation Systems Resilience is introducing “Resilience Day” on Monday, January 11, 2016 during the 2016 TRB Annual Meeting.
As part of Resilience Day, the section will be hosting
Session 398: Leadership Skills for Disaster Response and Business Continuity: Results from TRB Table Top Exercise and Lessons from Private Industry. The session will include a tabletop exercise that will examine characteristics and considerations that leaders should develop to ensure quick and effective responses in highly disruptive situations.
If you plan to attend this exercise, we ask that you
complete the survey by December 10, 2015. The survey for this exercise will take about 30 minutes and will focus on your organization's strategies, actions, and resulting effects in the face of disruptions.
The results of the exercise will be shared with all survey participants and will be presented and discussed during Session 398.
Use the Subject Index in the
interactive program to view additional events addressing the resilience theme.
You are encouraged to
register and make your hotel reservation today. Registration is required for all Annual Meeting attendees, including those who plan to attend any workshop, visit the exhibits, or take advantage of onsite programming and services.
