This webinar complements a TRB webinar previously conducted on the
Principles and Practices of Quieter Pavements, held on August 24, 2011, and is organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Transportation-Related Noise and Vibration (ADC40). Topics will include:
- Overview of AASHTO Technical Paper (TP) 76 for On-Board Sound Intensity (OBSI) measurements
- Overview of AASHTO TP 98 for the Statistical Isolated Pass-By Method (SIP)
- Overview of AASHTO TP 99 for the Continuous-Flow Traffic Time-Integrated Method (CTIM)
- Measurement programs using OBSI, SIP, CTIM
- Quieter pavement research and programs

Professional Development Hour information:
