Non-Contact Driver Drowsiness Detection System

TRB’s Safety Innovations Deserving Exploratory Analysis (IDEA) Program Final Report for Safety-IDEA Project 17: Non-Contact Driver Drowsiness Detection System explores the development of a non-contact sensing platform to monitor the physiological signals of drivers such as the electrocardiography and/or electroencephalography, from which the onset and extent of drowsiness can be detected.
