Travel Forecasting 2011, Volume 1
TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 2254 consists of 18 papers that explore behavioral foundation of route choice and traffic assignment, the information matrix in mixed logit models estimation, design features of activity-based models, dynamic activity generation models, and the underlying distributional assumption in nested logit models.
This issue of the TRR also examines microsimulator of the household vehicle fleet, multicriterion dynamic user equilibrium model, econometric structures for trip generation models, integrated equilibrium travel demand model with nested logit structure, evaluation method for agent-based household microdata sets, and estimating through-trip travel.
In addition, this TRR addresses incorporating stochastic road capacity into day-to-day traffic simulation; analytic relationships between travel time reliability measures; network user equilibrium model for scheduling daily activity travel patterns; joint model of participation in nonwork activities and time-of-day choice set formation; expected travel cost function with uncertain travel time; variability of travel time, users' uncertainty, and trip information; and planning-constrained destination choice in activity-based models.
