TRB’s National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Report 699: Guidelines for the Use of Pavement Warranties on Highway Construction Projects is designed to help guide state departments of transportation (DOTs) in establishing pavement warranty programs.
Panelists will summarize the research findings for established pavement warranty programs of various DOTs and will outline best practice guidance, programmatic and project-level decision criteria, and specification language that DOTs can consider when applying pavement warranties on highway construction projects.
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this webinar, attendees will learn how to:
- Synthesize warranty use
- Summarize pavement warranty experience
- Discuss benefits and challenges
- Present method for project selection
- Outline guidelines and specifications for asphalt and concrete warranties
