Testing Programs for Transportation Management Systems
The U.S. Federal Highway Administration has released a handbook and a primer on testing programs for transportation management systems. The handbook is designed to provide direction, guidance, and recommended practices for test planning, test procedures, and test execution for the acquisition, operation, and maintenance of transportation management systems and intelligent transportation system devices. The primer, designed for a non-technical audience, explores key aspects of testing, examines the benefits of developing and using testing programs, and profiles successful practices of existing programs.
