Management and Public Policy 2005
TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board No. 1924 explores ways that intelligent transportation devices—such as signs and ramp meters—could help older drivers use freeways; assesses the potential demand for new academic programs in transportation and logistics in Rhode Island; examines whether transport megaprojects in Hong Kong and China could be designed to benefit local areas as well as global interests; and reveals how improvements to a New Jersey Transit rail line decreased stress and job strain for commuters.
Individual TRR Journals, which are published on an irregular basis throughout the year, consist of collections of peer-reviewed papers on specific transportation subject areas and modes. Abstracts of papers that make up this TRR are available through TRB's Publication Index.
TRR Journals may also be purchased on an annual subscription basis. Each year, TRB publishes approximately 40 volumes of the TRR Journal, containing more than 650 papers grouped by subject.
