The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Joint Program Office has released a brochure that highlights the use of ITS technologies in coordinating and improving human services transportation. The brochure focuses on the benefits of these ITS technologies to agencies that provide human services transportation such as higher quality service, flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, improved safety and security, and increased ridership.
