Railroad Research: Intercity Passenger Transportation, Track Design and Maintenance, and Hazardous Materials Transport
Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board 1825 examines the risk of derailment in the transportation of hazardous materials, the effect of heavy axle loads on the fatigue life of steel bridges, and strategies for improving the crashworthiness of rail passenger equipment. This issue also focuses on the precast span method of constructing high-speed rail bridges in Korea and on the pricing of commuter, intercity, and freight train service.
Individual TRR Journals, which are published on an irregular basis throughout the year, consist of collections of peer-reviewed papers on specific transportation subject areas and modes.
Abstracts of papers that make up this TRR are available through
TRB's Publication Index. In the Series field type "Record & 1825" (without the quotes). After reviewing the abstracts, you will need to use your browser's "back" button to return to this screen in order to purchase the publication.
