Managing Suburban Intersections Through Sensing

A report by the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Institute of the Center for Transportation Studies at the University of Minnesota investigates the use of ITS to monitor vehicle and pedestrian positions, trajectories, velocities, and other data in order to predict and to warn pedestrians and drivers of real-time hazard situations.
