TRB Webinar: New Resources for Managing Small Airports

Airport personnel were invited to a TRB webinar on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM ET. The webinar featuredresearch from the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) Research Report 16: Guidebook for Managing Small Airports.

This webinar provided an overview of the responsibilities of financial management, oversight of contracts and leases, safety and security, noise impacts, community relations, compliance with federal and state obligations, facility maintenance, and capital improvements at small airports. The presenter will described the expanded content and revised structure of the report and its associated electronic library, WebResource 6. She discussed how managers of small airports may use the strategies to help put the guidance into practice.
