Research Report 187: Transportation Emergency Response Application (TERA) Support Materials for Airport EOC Exercises.
Airports must be prepared to address the many hazards that could affect facilities, operations, personnel, and passengers. Exercises are essential for emergency and disaster preparedness. By conducting and evaluating exercises, airports can assess the readiness of its plans, policies, procedures, systems, and resources for a variety of disaster scenarios. This webinar will feature tabletop and full-scale emergency exercise practices that may be used by small general aviation, non-hub, and small hub airports. The webinar will also focus on Transportation Emergency Response Application (TERA) support materials for commercial airports of all sizes. These materials may help guide airport staff tasked with planning, coordinating, and facilitating a functional Emergency Operations Center (EOC) exercise or an annual tabletop exercise.
This webinar is sponsored by the Airport Cooperative Research Program.
