TRB Straight to Recording for All: Transportation Worker Safety Program Resources and Practices

TRB recorded a series of videos in September 2017 that features research from the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Synthesis 509: Highway Worker Safety, that documents current safety practices, processes, and data sources utilized by state departments of transportation (DOTs). The presenters provide information about the prevalence of different types of worker injuries and fatalities and available data sources, and how state DOTs use this data to enhance their safety programs. Presenters will also describe DOT safety program elements.The videos are available on-demand at no cost.
