ACRP Insight Event - Introduction to Blockchain and Airport Operations in a COVID-19 Environment
Blockchain has evolved into a technology with the potential to transform a range of industries by securing the exchange of privacy, establishing provenance, facilitating data sharing, and creating value through transactions in completely new, safe, and efficient ways. It has numerous relevant applications for airport operations, including managing challenges associated with coronavirus disease (COVID-19): tracking cargo such as critical medical supplies, ensuring provenance of public health-related resources, securing the privacy of passenger infection status, supporting contact tracing, and more.
ACRP is hosting an Insight Event to focus on blockchain and airport operations in the COVID-19 environment on August 4-5, 2020 from 1:00-4:30 PM Eastern each day. This virtual ACRP Insight Event is structured to provide airport stakeholders with a basic understanding of blockchain, a glimpse into how airports are currently using it to improve operations and customer experience, and insights into potential blockchain innovations for managing new public health challenges to airport operations.
Registration is required.
