TRB Webinar: Condition Assessment of Bridge Post-Tensioning and Stay Cable Systems Using NDE Methods
TRB conducted a webinar on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM ET that featured research from the
National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP)’s
Report 848: Inspection Guidelines for Bridge Post-Tensioning and Stay Cable Systems Using NDE Methods.
This webinar evaluated inspection guidelines of non-destructive evaluation (NDE) methods for assessing the condition of in-service post-tensioning and stay cable systems. The presenters provided information about how multiple NDE technologies are evaluated, and how bridge owners can select the most appropriate method for evaluating their systems.
