TRB conducted a webinar on August 12, 2015, from 2:00pm to 3:30pm ET that covered NCHRP Synthesis 480: Economic and Development Implications of Transportation Disinvestment, which focuses on how state departments of transportation and metropolitan planning organizations manage their transportation infrastructure network to balance competing maintenance and shrinking investment budgets while mitigating the economic consequences. Webinar presenters reviewed the key findings from the synthesis and considered the implications of this work for follow-up NHCRP research.
This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Transportation and Economic Development.
A certificate for 1.5 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) was provided to attendees who registered and attended the webinar as an individual. This webinar has met approval by the American Institute of Certified Planners for 1.5 Certification Maintenance Credits.
