Transportation Research Record (TRR) Research Board has released more than 200 papers from the 2018 TRB Annual Meeting. Enhancements to the journal include:
- Articles published much closer to final acceptance
- A new user interface for the journal
- Article-level metrics
- Full-text HTML to enhance discovery of the research
- Interactive proof markup for authors
- LaTeX support for complex math articles (LaTeX is a typesetting system that includes features designed for the production of technical and scientific documentation)
Since the journal’s founding in 1963 (originally titled the Highway Research Record), TRR has published more than 25,000 papers and continues to build on its tradition of disseminating research findings to advance discussions around transportation, its associated development, challenges and opportunities. TRR publishes approximately 70 issues annually of outstanding, peer-reviewed papers presenting research findings in policy, planning, administration, economics and financing, operations, construction, design, maintenance, safety, and more, for all modes of transportation. This site provides electronic access to a full compilation of papers since the 1996 series.
