Using Falling Weight Deflectometer Data with Mechanistic-Empirical Design and Analysis, Volume III: Guidelines for Deflection Testing, Analysis, and Interpretation
The U.S. Federal Highway Administration has released a report that investigates the use of the falling weight deflectometer as part of mechanistic-empirical pavement design and rehabilitation procedures incorporated within the Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide. This volume, the last in a three-volume report, recommends practices and guidelines for effective testing of existing pavement structures as part of a pavement evaluation and rehabilitation process.
