TRB conducted a webinar on December 16, 2014, from 1:00pm to 2:30pm ET that highlighted the complicated and changing landscape of data privacy. Webinar presenters also discussed privacy as it pertains to issues related to transportation data. Privacy is a subjective notion, defined by who is talking, who is listening, and the expectations of government and society at given points in time and in varying contexts.
A certificate for 1.5 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) were provided to attendees who registered and attended the webinar as an individual.
