National Public Transportation Safety Plan

The U.S. Federal Transit Administration has released a report that seeks to guide the national effort in managing the safety risks and safety hazards within the U.S.’s public transportation systems. The National Safety Plan is mandated by MAP-21 (Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act) to all public transportation systems that receive Federal transit funds.
