TRB Webinar: The Effects of Aviation Noise
TRB conducted a webinar on May 29, 2014, from 2:00pm to 3:30pm ET that covered the potential effects of aviation noise on hearing, sleep, health, annoyance, and learning environments. Webinar presenters discussed the noise concerns that present potential barriers to airport operations and expansion, and how those concerns can contribute to delays in both facility and capacity improvements.
