TRB conducted a webinar on May 16, 2013 from 2:00 p.m.- 3:30 p.m. ET that explored how to plan, design, and implement roundabouts. Contact Reggie Gillum at
RGillum@nas.edu for information on accessing a link to the recorded webinar.
This webinar will introduce some fundamentals of roundabouts and panelists will discuss specific planning, implementation, analysis, and design issues in the United States. In addition, it will present information on how roundabouts promote statewide, area, and community development through case studies where roundabouts benefited traffic flow, business growth, and economic development. The webinar will likely be of interest to states, counties, and cities that are planning, designing and implementing roundabouts.
This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Roundabouts (ANB75).
Webinar Presenters:
• Mark Johnson, MTJ Engineering, LLC
