Behavioral Responses to Policy and System Changes 2007

TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 2010 includes 14 papers that explore the effect of the built environment on motorized and nonmotorized trip making, travel time information influence on network flow, multitasking and the value of travel time savings, revealed parking choices and the value of time, multimodality, process model of voluntary travel behavior modification, and behavioral impacts of the New Jersey Turnpike time-of-day pricing initiative.  This issue of the TRR also examines modeling the timing of user responses to a new urban public transport service; automobiles, trips, and neighborhood type; impact of carpooling on trip-chaining behavior and emission reductions; willingness to pay for parking at suburban malls;impact of reduced parking standards on parking supply; telecommuting; and transportation and communications - substitutes, complements, or neither.

Individual TRRs, which are published on an irregular basis throughout the year, consist of collections of peer-reviewed papers on specific transportation subject areas and modes.  TRB's TRR Online service allows all visitors to identify papers of interest and review abstracts of those papers.  Access to the full papers is available to service subscribers and employees of TRB sponsors.  Papers may also be purchased on an individual basis.

Printed copies of TRR Journals may also be purchased on an annual subscription basis.  Each year, TRB publishes approximately 45 volumes of the TRR Journal, containing more than 800 papers grouped by subject.
