Freight Analysis, Evaluation, and Modeling
TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board 1906 includes the 2005 Thomas B. Deen Distinguished Lecture by Lillian C. Borrone, Sparking the Globalized Trade and Transportation Connection: Supplying Freight System Responses to Global Trade Demands. TRR: Journal 1906 also examines freight transportation user benefits; efficiency of road haulage firms, urban freight in Dublin, Ireland’s city center; off-peak freight deliveries; the impact of illegal parking activities on traffic; evaluation of intermodal freight facilities, optimizing hazardous materials transportation; capacity modeling; and more.
Individual TRR Journals, which are published on an irregular basis throughout the year, consist of collections of peer-reviewed papers on specific transportation subject areas and modes. Abstracts of papers that make up this TRR are available through TRB's Publication Index. In the Series field type "Record & 1906" (without the quotation marks). After reviewing the abstracts, you will need to use your browser's "back" button to return to this screen in order to purchase the publication.
TRR Journals may also be purchased on an annual subscription basis. Each year, TRB publishes approximately 40 volumes of the TRR Journal, containing more than 650 papers grouped by subject.
