Innovation, one of the foundational factors included in TRB’s Critical Issues in Transportation 2024 and Beyond, will be the focus of U.S. and international speakers during the Chair's Plenary Session on Wednesday, January 8.

• The TRB 2025 app is now available in the App Store and Google Play! When opening the app for the first time, enter the same email address you used to register for the Annual Meeting. You'll find the most up-to-date and detailed information on all sessions, workshops, posters, and exhibits.

• Track your Professional Development Hours (PDH) and Certification Maintenance AICP (CM) credits through TRB’s printed program, online program, and mobile app. To earn credits, you must keep your own attendance records. Synch information in the mobile app with your personal itinerary in the online program. Open the mobile app, tap the “More” icon on the home page, then tap “Mobile App Help".

Learn and get inspired by the winners of TRB's first DEI Video Competition! Entrants submitted 2-minute videos describing how their organization advanced the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and/or belonging, either in the broader transportation community or in their organization.

• In the wake of some high-profile derailments in recent years, Congress requested a TRB/National Academies report assessing the safety challenges related to operating long freight trains. Debra Miller, chair of the Kansas Turnpike Authority and head of the new report’s authoring committee, was interviewed for a new feature article about the research on the Academies' homepage.
