There are around 360 wrong-way driver deaths annually in the United States, reports KTNV Las Vegas, citing a 2023 report from TRB's National Cooperative Highway Research Program. Evidence is mounting that the numbers may be higher that this over the most recent years.

This research, published in TRB's Transportation Research Record journal, is featured by AZO Robotics.
