ACRP Impacts on Practice – Standardizing Airport Incident Management Practices

The May 2015 issue of TRB’s Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) Impacts on Practice highlights how airport officials at Golden Triangle Airport (GTR) in Columbus, Mississippi, Kissimmee Gateway Airport (KISM) in Kissimmee, Florida have applied findings from ACRP Report 103: A Guidebook for Integrating NIMS for Personnel and Resources at Airports. The report helped these airports more fully integrate the National Incident Management System (NIMS) into airport response plans.
