Transit Signal Priority Research Tools

The U.S. Federal Transit Administration has released a report that explores a variety of transit signal priority (TSP) systems and deployments.  The report examines the necessary infrastructure required to implement select TSP systems.  The report also highlights potential benefits of TSP systems to transit and the systems’ impacts on traffic operations.  In addition, the report provides proposed guidance on TSP system planning and analysis methods.
