The Interagency Committee for the Marine Transportation System (ICMTS) is sponsoring the 7th MTS Research and Technology Coordination Conference on November 16-17, 2004 at the National Academy of Sciences Building, 2101 Constitution Avenue, NW in Washington, D.C. This year’s conference is hosted by the U.S. Bureau of Customs and Border Protection and the U.S. Coast Guard, both of which are now part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The conference was originally designed as a vehicle for government scientists and engineers working on MTS-related research to share their research ideas with their federal colleagues. It was expanded in 1999 to include all stakeholders in the MTS, recognizing that private industry, academia, state/local government, and others are key to the future of the MTS. The TRB Marine Group and the Marine Board are co-sponsors of this event.
The Participant registration fee is $150.00 per person for those registered by Friday, October 15, 2004 and $200.00 for those registered afterward. This fee includes all sessions, breaks, and exhibits, lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday, and the Tuesday Reception.
The Technical Session Speakers registration fee and the ICMTS Federal Agency Personnel registration fee is $100.00 per person. This fees includes all sessions, breaks, and exhibits, lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday, and the Tuesday Reception.
* Payment will NOT be collected onsite; prepaid registration is strongly recommended. If you are unable to prepay, an invoice will be sent after the conference.
Refunds will be issued, less a $25.00 cancellation fee, for all cancellations received in writing by Friday, October 15, 2004. No refunds will be issued thereafter.
